For permission to reprint, include “Liberty and God-given Rights Teaching by Rev. Steven Andrew, www.USA.Church, American Christian Teachers (ACT)” at the beginning of the reprint.

  1. Where do your rights come from? Your rights come from Jesus Christ, not government or people. Jesus Christ is King of kings. By following King Jesus – as a covenant Christian nationyou have liberty. The Bible is the source of our God-given rights. These rights are rights that no one can take away from you. They are unalienable.
    1. Your God-given rights are holy.
      1. “God created man in his own image…” Genesis 1:27.
      2. “the glorious liberty of the children of God.” Romans 8:21.
      3. It is sin to serve men instead of God. It is sin to not keep the liberty that God gives you.
        1. “Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.” 1 Corinthians 7:23
        2. “the LORD is our judge; the LORD is our lawgiver; the LORD is our king” Isaiah 33:22
        3. John Adams said to pastors: “Let us hear the dignity of his nature, and the noble rank he holds among the works of God—that consenting to [tyranny] slavery is a sacrilegious breach of trust, as offensive in the sight of God as it is derogatory from our own honor or interest or happiness—and that God Almighty has promulgated from heaven liberty, peace, and good-will to man!”
    2. “all men are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” Declaration of Independence
    3. “Americans combine the notions of Christianity and of liberty so intimately in their minds, that it is impossible to make them conceive the one without the other.” Alexis de Tocqueville
    4. “Kings or parliaments could not give the rights essential to happiness… We claim them from a higher source–from the King of kings and Lord of all the earth… They are born with us, exist with us, and cannot be taken from us…” John Dickinson, Signer of the Constitution
    5. “You have rights antecedent to all earthly governments: rights that cannot be repealed or restrained by human laws; rights derived from the Great Legislator of the universe.” John Adams
  2. Life – God-given Right
    1. “Life is the immediate gift of God, a right inherent by Nature [God’s creation] in every individual and it begins in contemplation of law as soon as an infant is able to stir in the mother’s womb” and “consists in the free use, enjoyment, and disposal of every man’s acquisitions, without any control or diminution,” explained scholar Sir William Blackstone.
    2. “You have the right to life in all you do, beginning at conception. In Jesus Christ is life, so this right is to follow the Son of God.” Steven Andrew
      1. “In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:4
      2. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Jesus Christ, John 10:10
  3. Liberty – God-given Right
    1. “the glorious liberty of the children of God.” Romans 8:21.
    2. Personal liberty “consists in the power of removing one’s person to any place whatsoever without restraint, unless by due course of law,” said Sir William Blackstone.
    3. “Your right of liberty includes freedom to live your life for God as a Christian, not to live in sin. Jesus is the Author of Liberty and only He makes you free.” Steven Andrew
    4. “The natural liberty of man is to be free from any superior power on earth, and not to be under the will or legislative authority of man, but only to have the law of nature for his rule.” Samuel Adams, Signer Declaration of Independence
    5. “God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God?” Thomas Jefferson, President
    6. Tyrants oppose God and liberty, so Americans reject tyrants. Isaiah 33:22, Mark 12:30-31, Titus 3:10

  4. The Pursuit of happiness – God-given Right
    1. “Your right to the pursuit of happiness is to do God’s will, because you are created in such a way that you can only be happy doing God’s will.” Steven Andrew
      1. Psalm 144:15 says, “happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.”
    2. The law of nature (the will of God) forbids doing things that are against another person’s pursuit of happiness.
      1. Jesus commanded, “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself ” Mark 12:31
    3. “As therefore the creator is a being, not only of infinite power, and wisdom, but also of infinite goodness, he has been pleased so to contrive the constitution and frame of humanity, that we should want no other prompter to inquire after and pursue the rule of right, but only our own self-love, that universal principle of action. For he has so intimately connected, so inseparably interwoven the laws of eternal justice with the happiness of each individual, that the latter cannot be attained but by observing the former; and, if the former be punctually obeyed, it cannot but induce the latter.” Sir William Blackstone
  5. Property – God-given Right
    1. “You have the right to property. This includes using your property to glorify God.” Steven Andrew, Colossians 3:23
    2. “The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof” Psalm 24:1
    3. “A person’s right of private property “consists in the free use, enjoyment, and disposal of all his acquisitions, without any control or diminution, save only by the [Christian] laws of the land,” explained Blackstone. Isaiah 33:22
  6. Conscience – God-given Right
    1. “for conscience sake … For why is my liberty judged by another man’s conscience?” 1 Corinthians 10:28-29
    2. “Your right of conscience is the duty to obey your conscience before God in holiness based on your undestanding of God’s Word, because you appear before the judgment seat of Christ to give an account of your life.” Steven Andrew
      1. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” 2 Corinthians 5:10
      2. “We ought to obey God, rather then man.” Acts 5:29
    3. “Security under our constitution is given to the [Christian] rights of conscience and private judgment. They are by nature subject to no control but that of Deity [the Lord], and in that free situation they are now left.” John Jay, First Chief Justice.
    4. The Bible teaches that no one can force you to sin. Never listen to a person who tries to force you to sin, for that person is evil.
  7. Churches Meet Freely Always – God-given Right
    1. “Christ is the head of the church” Ephesians 5:23.
    2. “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together” Hebrews 10:25.
    3. “We ought to obey God rather than men.” Acts 5:29.
    4. The First Amendment guarantees Congress shall make no law probiting the free exercise of Christianity.
      1. Democrats and Dr. Fauci harmed and killed millions of people VAERS shows, caused poverty, violated God-given rights and caused thousands of churches to close with unconstitutional and unwise lockdowns, mandates, Covid shots and useless, unscientific masks.
      2. The Bible says putting Jesus Christ first place in our lives and the USA is how to remove plagues and tyranny (2 Corinthians 3:17). Plagues are God’s judgment for sin.
        1. “And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.” Exodus 32:35
        2. “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4
        3. In the case that a “plague” is a man made bioweapon then that is also God’s judgment of tyranny for disobeying God (Nehemiah 9).
          1. “Neither have our kings, our princes, our priests, nor our fathers, kept thy law, nor hearkened unto thy commandments and thy testimonies… Behold, we are servants this day, and for the land that thou gavest unto our fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, behold, we are servants in it: And it yieldeth much increase unto the kings whom thou hast set over us because of our sins: also they have dominion over our bodies, and over our cattle, at their pleasure, and we are in great distress. And because of all this we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes, Levites, and priests, seal unto it.” Nehemiah 9:34-38
      3. There is no pandemic clause in the Constitution to give up our rights.

  8. God opposes tyrants. Tyrants violate the first commandment to love God and the second commandment to love people (Mark 12:30-31). Tyrants make themselves a god and try to rule over people instead of God.
  9. God-given rights are a non-negotiable. God’s will is that Americans demand our God-given rights.
    1. “it is the greatest absurdity… to renounce [our] essential natural rights, or the means of preserving those rights; when the grand end of civil government, from the very nature of its institution, is for the support, protection, and [defense] of those very rights; the principal of which… are Life, Liberty, and Property. If men, through fear, fraud, or mistake, should… give up any essential natural right, the eternal law of reason… would absolutely vacate such renunciation. The right to freedom being the gift of God Almighty…” Samuel Adams, Signer Declaration of Independence
    2. “If I could have entertained the slightest apprehension that the Constitution framed in the Convention… might possibly endanger the [Christian] religious rights of any ecclesiastical society, certainly I should never have placed my signature to it; and, if I could now conceive that the General Government might ever be so administered as to render the liberty of conscience insecure, … no one would be more zealous than myself to establish effectual barriers against the horrors of spiritual tyranny and every species of [Christian] religious persecution.” George Washington, President
    3. The LORD gives us God-given rights to be holy, He does not give us rights to sin. This means that “homosexual rights,” “abortion rights,” “transgender rights” and other sins are Satan-given rights.
      1. So the USA wouldn’t have God’s wrath, our founders opposed rights to sin that liberals promote.
      2. We should think like our founders who are mature Christians. Abiding in Christ as free men and raising godly generations of the country is a much higher Christian maturity level than just getting saved.
    4. Americans follow God when they say “we will not comply” to tyrants attacking God-given rights (Acts 5:29…). God forbids us to sin by giving in to tyrants – the devil’s people.
    5. We need every pastor and person to teach our God-given rights. The clergy in all the colonies were bold and frequent in their pulpit enunciations of the great principles of civil and [Christian] religious liberty and in rebuking despotism and the evils of the day,” explained Robert Morris.
  10. Jesus Christ sets people free from tyranny and tyrants (Isaiah 33:22).
    1. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me… to preach deliverance to the captives… to set at liberty them that are bruised” Jesus, Luke 4:18
    2. It is the Lord who delivered Israel from the tyranny of Pharaoh and the USA from the tyranny of King George.
    3. “I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.” Leviticus 26:13
  11. The Constitution protects our God-given rights to serve King Jesus and it restricts government rights.
    1. To protect our liberty and to have a godly society We the People made a Constitution to have representatives protect We the People’s Christian rights.
    2. We the People have all power. One nation under God living for “no king but King Jesus”.
    3. The role of government is to serve King Jesus and protect our God-given rights.
      1. Representatives have limited rights in part due to the sinfulness of man.
      2. Government doesn’t have jurisdiction over family or the church. Parents have God-given rights of their children.
    4. Bill of Rights – Examples
      1. First Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of [one Christian denomination] religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
      2. Second Amendment: … the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
      3. Fourth Amendment: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause…
  12. If you are not a Christian, call on Jesus Christ to save you. Pray and read the Bible every morning and evening. Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, John 3:16-18, Romans 10:9-10

Pray: Father, I believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to forgive my sins. You raised Jesus Christ from the dead. I confess Jesus is Lord. I am a Christian. Help me understand the Holy Bible with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
